happy birthday mia!

in mid-may, the same weekend my parents visited, our friends jenny and dan threw a fourth birthday bash for their adorable daughter, mia.  jenny is exceptionally talented and every detail was perfect at this party.  she had little brunch boxes for all the kids and a gorgeous buffet-style setup for the adults.  there was a fun jump that ek was a little bit too small to enjoy, but she didn't mind.  the guests all set up in the huge front yard, and there were musical instruments, tricycles, and the general fun of the start of summer and lots of other kiddos.  justin made a video of the event which you can view here.  below are just a few pics of our cute friends and their cute offspring - including the birthday girl.
