family pictures.

so, emme is now 22 months old (!).  in the last almost 2 years, i can count basically on one hand the number of functional pictures we have of our family.  it's sad.  i always look like a hobo, and justin is always behind the camera, so....there you have it.
anyway.  justin's friend kate is a super gifted photographer and they decided to do a little services trade a couple months ago.  kate had a sunday morning free, and i wanted to knock out a super quick session before i was more pregnant (as it is, i look super bloat-y in all the pics, but what can you do?), so we met at a nearby park and did some family picturing.
despite the fact that is was crazy windy and my hair was frizzy beyond belief, i love the series.  emme was kind of cranky that morning, but she held it together for most of the pictures, and i'm sooooo glad we have a small glimpse of this time captured.  i hope to be better about doing these in the future.  maybe with some sort of serum for my hair and less of a pregnant face....
