a picnic with parker.

the weekend before i left for philly was the first really nice weather we've had in austin in a while (as i mentioned in the pumpkin patch post).  between naps - this was when we were still on two naps a day - we met up with wendy, david, and parker for some picnicking action.  wendy made yummy chicken salad and i brought some fruits and cheese and random other snacks.  we also brought champagne and toasted autumn in austin.  parker is a little over 6 months old now, so she and emme are getting closer to being interactive every day.  give it another year and i am sure ek will be showing her how to eat rocks with the best of 'em.  for now, p was not super excited at emme's "gentle" greeting.  we need to take advantage of this nice weather with many more picnics....
